Have you seen the latest EICSurviveandThrive report? The 9th edition landed on desks recently, and I was pleased to interview HCS shortly after they came into EIC (Energy Industries Council) membership.
The diversification story of is one of new locations and new services, culminating in revenues almost doubling since 2021.
It was my pleasure to here from Gary Morrow about how HCS has expanded its core business from it Glenrothes site – moving into production related systems for oil and gas – as well as investing in several new facilities in Aberdeen, Great Yarmouth and Perth, Australia. These new facilities have also strengthened their service offering to clients, to now include maintenance and overhaul of subsea equipment, as well as decommissioning services, all supported by the strategic appointment of key staff.
Their people and expertise, as well as collaboration with colleagues and clients have been integral their diversification success.
