Safety & Quality Assurance
‘Safety’ and ‘quality’ are core values of HCS. We attribute our success over the last 20 years to embedding these principles into everything we do.
Award Winning Safety Standards
Quite simply, nothing is more important than the safety of our employees. Group wide employee safety is the principle consideration in everything we do. We are very proud to have been winners of a ROSPA gold medal since 2012
Our goal is zero accidents
The management team impresses upon all employees to think and act with safety in mind at all times. We are committed to achieving our goal of zero accidents and regularly undertake health & safety staff training.
Quality Control Processes are embedded into every stage of project development

Continuous Improvement
We continually review quality processes in our project evaluations and seek to improve on best practice and address lessons learned. Through continuous improvement we hope to continue to exceed customer expectations.
Experienced Quality Team
The quality team at HCS supports the management team in communicating and enforcing quality processes and procedures across the business. Their expertise also supports our project managers by conducting quality control checks.
SQA Approval
At HCS, we value our team, and we believe education is an important factor in helping to develop people. Which is why we are proud to share that our team in Aberdeen are now a qualified SQA Training Centre, providing our new customised award for ‘Principles and Practices of Subsea and Surface Controls Equipment’ to our valued employees.
Our training and competency team have worked hard developing this customised award which has focussed on the skills attributed to the HCS way of life and we look forward to delivering it to our team.
Mark Anderson, MD for HCS Aberdeen adds ‘This is an exciting new journey for HCS and demonstrates the commitment we have to our employees, our customers and our industry by assuring the education and competency of our workforce.’
