Energy Transition Sales Manager

The Energy Transition Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting the HCS Group’s capabilities to support the Energy Transition market with focus on Hydrogen, Carbon Capture and renewables.

The Energy Transition Sales Manager will support the Sales Director in achieving the Company growth strategy through exploring any and all organic growth opportunities, in the energy transition sector.

The successful candidate will have strong technical background, excellent communication skills, market understanding and proven client management experience to create new opportunities and a track record of successful project execution.

They will have experience of working independently developing a range of Energy Transition industry proposals to meet clients and market needs and promote the company within the industry.

This role is a combination of external sales and internal organization management to deliver on sales commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate new business opportunities in the marketplace through continuous professional contact with existing and/or new clientele and determines and assists in determining client long-range need for services and/or capital expenditures.
  • Track new Business Development opportunities, utilising market knowledge and market intelligence tools to identify projects which are aligned to the Company growth strategy.
  • Solicits qualified bid/proposal opportunities and evaluates client needs for bids and proposals and sells appropriate services.
  • Researching Flowline and other channels to identify new opportunities.
  • Coordinates the development of the proposal with planning, estimating and other appropriate departments.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to key clients and prospects and report on opportunities to management team.
  • Supporting the management team in creation of sales reports for board.
  • Sales and Marketing planning and execution as part of larger team for HCS Group.
  • Ensure that there is a clear understanding of Sales objectives and targets and how they relate to the HCS strategic level objectives.
  • Customer management – collectively or individually.
  • Representing HCS at corporate events and trade shows.
