CASE STUDY 11:
UMBILICAL REELERS
PROJECT SPECIFICATION
A long-standing client operating in the North Sea required two umbilical reelers at short notice to support ongoing offshore operations. With offshore projects often running on tight schedules, delivering critical equipment on time was essential to maintaining efficiency. One of the reelers, a newly designed unit from HCS’s Glenrothes facility, had only recently arrived in Aberdeen before being prepared for deployment.
Key elements of the project included:
- Rapid mobilisation to meet operational deadlines
- Coordination across multiple departments to ensure efficiency
- Full equipment checks prior to dispatch
