HCS choose The ARCHIE Foundation as their charity partner
We are delighted to announce that HCS has partnered with The ARCHIE Foundation and will be donating a proportion of its future revenue achieved from an ARCHIE themed rental Intervention Workover Control System (IWOCS) to the charity.
The charity, founded in 2000, continues to make a positive contribution to the lives of sick children and relies entirely on funding from voluntary contributions within the community. It is hoped that the proceeds raised through this partnership can make a real difference and help The ARCHIE Foundation in its fundraising mission within the Grampian area. The aim at HCS is to further aid the charity in their efforts to carry on offering the amazing support they already provide to local children and their families.
The ARCHIE Foundation has been helping children and families for 21 years, funding key roles and projects at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and, in more recent years, at Highland Children’s Unit and Tayside Children’s Hospital. ARCHIE also supports babies through its Friends of the Neonatal Unit and provides bereavement support for children who have lost a loved one.
Lynne Brooks, ARCHIE’s gifts & donations officer, said: “Thank you to everyone at HCS for coming up with such a great idea to support our cause. We are so grateful to the team and know that their ongoing support will truly help to make a difference to children and their families when they need it most.”
Mark Anderson, Operations Director of HCS Aberdeen, added, “The ARCHIE Foundation is a charity close to the hearts of all at HCS and the opportunity to support the charity has been in our plans since HCS Aberdeen launched in 2018. We very much look forward to supporting the foundation for many years to come.”
