Yesterday our team loaded out 3 open sea umbilical reelers. These are among the biggest reelers HCS has ever built with unit dimensions of H=4.9m, W=4.9m, L=6.9m. Each unit weighs over 21 tonnes and will be capable of spooling 2200m of 111mm diameter umbilical which itself weighs 25 tonnes.
HCS Glenrothes successfully completed their 'Mission Christmas' this week. Thanks to the generous donations by staff and additional funding by the company, £600 worth of toys were donated to the appeal.
